make Pride personal

We can take ourselves seriously and look at our lives critically.
We can open our minds and hearts to a few minutes of reflection.
We can tell each other about the people who shaped us,
about the experiences we’ve had and the insights we’ve gleaned.
We can articulate our own desires and needs.
In short, we can make Pride personal again.

Join me through videos posted (almost) daily throughout the month of June to create a little space for us to make Pride personal.

In each video, I begin with a few questions to prompt personal reflection, read an essay from my forthcoming book, six to carry the casket and one to say the mass: reflections on life, identity, and moving forward, and end with a moment for gratitude–I hope you’ll join me by noticing what you’re particularly grateful for in that moment.

All videos will be posted to my blog.
