Looking for an officiant or a ceremony that reflects your experiences, identities, and values? Let’s connect. I want to hear about what you’re planning and tell you more about my approach. I’ll follow up with a proposal that includes a timeline and fees.

Looking for the total package, someone to work with to design, coordinate, and lead a ceremony or officiate your wedding?
If you want an original and truly unique ceremony, I’ll collaborate with you to design all aspects of the ritual, either from scratch or by adapting and integrating components from other traditions. We’ll meet regularly (about monthly) in the months leading up to the ceremony to design the ceremony and workshop your vows. This package includes coordination with your wedding party and relevant vendors, a rehearsal with everyone involved in the ceremony, and the development of any programs, signage, or other texts (such as prayers, toasts, ritual aids, and scripts) for your wedding.
$1500 + reimbursement for travel expenses

If you just need an officiant and a simple ceremony, I’ll collaborate with you to tailor my standard ceremony and provide support for your vows. This package includes two to three meetings in the months leading up to the ceremony and coordination with your wedding party and relevant vendors. An advance rehearsal is not included in this package.
$750 + reimbursement travel expenses

If you’ve got another officiant lined up but need a ceremony that reflects your experiences, identities, and values, I’ll collaborate with you either to design an original ceremony or to tailor my standard ceremony.
$750 for original ceremony design
$500 for tailored ceremony design -
A rehearsal isn’t always necessary, but it gives participants in a ceremony confidence in what they’re doing and helps the couple anticipate what they’ll be feeling. A rehearsal is more important if a large wedding party, specialized movements, or an unusual setup are involved.
$125 + reimbursement for travel expenses

If you require support or coaching in writing and delivering your vows to help you say what you mean and mean what you say, I will work with you to develop your vows through a series of three in-person or virtual meetings to find the right words and practice delivering your vows.

If you’ve got another officiant lined up, but they need support in designing, preparing for, or leading your ceremony, I’ll meet with you and your officiant to design and prepare for your ceremony.
$125/hr (3 hour minimu)

For ceremonies and rehearsals, I charge a fee to compensate for time and gas. I calculate these fees specifically for each couple and will provide details in my proposal.
For ceremonies within the city of Seattle: no travel fees
For ceremonies within two hours away: typically between $50-$150
For ceremonies more than two hours away: For venues that require a significant drive or travel by flight or train, my fee will cover the cost of round-trip travel, one night’s stay close to the venue, and my time.
